I have been able to enjoy my football, met some great people, and won trophies so pretty much been great all around.

Telecoms Project Manager
What has your fitness routine been with COVID-19?
I had a bit of a niggle in my knee so a couple of weeks off actually suited me perfectly. I recently started running again and I've just started the insanity program, looking forward to seeing the results.
What is your normal Saturday schedule for a game?
Usually up around 8 and always have porridge for breakfast, then go out and do the food shop for the week with the wife. Eat lunch about 11:30 then down to the club.
If you had not chosen to play football, was there any other sport you would have liked to play?
I do enjoy a round of golf so would have definitely played a lot more although if I hadn’t played football I would have probably gone into Rugby you can’t beat that team environment.
Do you think the league decisions to void the season was correct?
I think so, everyone is going to have a different opinion. Teams at the top will feel hard done by and the teams at the bottom will be relived but in order to ensure we are back and running next season as ‘Normal’ as possible, I think it’s for the best.
What do you think makes Harefield United unique?
I have been asked this before and I can’t explain what it is or say it’s anyone thing but there is something and it’s special.
Do you think the club’s youth policy will help the team in the long term?
The youth section is something that has been strong at Harefield for a good few years and has been well utilized by Jason and Mike with plenty of youth players involved in our invincible double-winning season. I think it’s something we can continue to use as there are plenty more talented youngsters coming through who want to play for the club.
What team do you support in Football?
Chelsea
What other sports do you watch?
I like watching Boxing or UFC on TV. The Darts and 20/20 cricket live are always good events.
The best game you have attended?
The 2 games that always spring to mind are:
Chelsea 4-2 Liverpool in the FA Cup 4th round 1997. Chelsea were 2-0 down at HT Mark Hughes come on and changed the game with Chelsea winning 4-2 the atmosphere was unbelievable.
Chelsea 3-1 Barcelona in the quarter-finals of the champions league in 2000. We hadn’t really been given a chance and absolutely battered Barcelona.
The Best player you have seen live?
Messi in Barcelona. He is a different level. To have watched Hazard at Chelsea over the years has been fantastic the way they both make it look so easy.
What is your most memorable Harefield United game?
The final game of the invincible season is the most memorable, where all the hard work paid off and to see the whole club celebrating together was amazing. A day we will never forget, hoping for a few more special days yet.
Best player you have seen in a Harefield shirt?
We have had some very good players in the time I have played here such as Adam Willis. Tash Jordan and Sam Shaw have been excellent. However, for me it has to be Richard Paquette. Pacqs experience, football knowledge, and ability make him an unbelievable asset on and off the pitch. He has helped me personally and in my opinion for the youngsters coming through there aren’t many better people to learn off. Credit to him keeps himself in very good nick and looks to have plenty left in the tank!
Where do you see the club on and off the pitch in 3-5 years?
The club is growing season on season which is fantastic and it’s been great to see an introduction of the ladies and girls teams which is growing exponentially. Continued success in the youth setup and a steady stream of quality players available to the first team.
I think the whole club's ambition is to get to step 4 which we believe is achievable in the very near future. I would then expect the club to look to push onto step 3.
